After-school tuition
LISC provides tuition in all mainstream subjects at all levels all year round. These courses are suitable for both our overseas and domestic students. Small, carefully put together groups of a maximum of five help students achieve the desired results and become confident in the subjects they are studying.
We accept:
- younger children from year 4 onwards who may wish to improve their literacy or numeracy skills
- year 5 and 6 pupils preparing for an 11+ exam in English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning
- year 7, 8 and 9 pupils preparing for common entrance or school internal exams
- year 10 and 11 students studying for GCSE exams
- year 12 and 13 students taking an A level exam and year 12 students following the IB programme
Timetable
One hour long tutorials are held between 4.00 and 8.00 p.m. on weekdays, 9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. on Saturdays and throughout the day over half-term holidays. Some students come only once a week, others come more often. Lessons are paid for on a monthly basis in advance.
